Poem: “Why do women wear high heeled shoes?”

Why do women wear high heeled shoes?

I mean if they needed to play dodge ball they would most definitely lose.

Before bed they frown at their feet that have been hurting for hours,

But strap them on in the morning as if putting on Super Woman Powers.

They spend days looking for the perfect, black, pointed, 2 ½ inch heel,

And actually pay $200 to say “Ouch” with a painful squeal.

But, today I figured out why they wear these crazy things,

High heel’s purpose are to remind women that they are human beings.

You see when a woman wears high heels she has to walk very, very slow,

Which is very hard when their mind is telling them, “Go, Go, Go!”

High heels give women blisters, which makes them stop and admire the sky,

And then think, “I should call my dad and say, hi.”

High heels make women trip into the office of a quiet co-worker,

And say “We’re going out to lunch. Would you like to join us for a veggie burger?”

High heels make women realize that they have done enough,

“I can’t feel my little-toe, time to wrap up this stuff.”

Now you know that there is a reason why women do what they do,

walking on pencils and pretending their shoes.

If it weren’t for high heels a woman’s smile would never be seen,

She would just run from thing to thing.

The world is a lot better for high heels, yes it’s true,

If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be sitting here with an owie on my toe writing this for you!
